Position Summary
The Registered Nurse utilizes Comprehensive Nursing Assessments to identify youth's physical, emotional, and behavioral needs and implements nursing interventions and evaluations that are age appropriate and therapeutically sound.
Essential Responsibilities
- Functions as liaison with non Pressley Ridge health care providers, including primary care, specialists, and mental health providers.
- Supervises procedures for medication administration.
- Initiates referrals where necessary for routine physical and dental examinations and immunizations.
- Provides in-service/training as required
- Demonstrates knowledge of proper documentation and charting procedures and completes in a timely manner.
- Utilizes data for decision making and performance improvement
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance.
- Clearances: State Police/FBI per state regulations; Child Protection
Working Conditions
- Physical Demands. Requires vision, speech, and hearing and a moderate to high level of physical activity including; sitting, standing, walking lifting and carrying as required. Must be able to meet the demands and complete Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI).
- Environmental Factors. Indoors/Outdoors: Residential treatment facility, school.
- Working Hours. Work week defined by service needs.

Bachelors of Nursing (preferred)
Associates of Nursing (required)
Experience
Current CPR card (required)
1 years: Nursing in a behavioral health setting serving children and/or adolescents preferred.
