Overview and Responsibilities

Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Salesforce Administrator to join our Rotech Team to own, execute and work on enterprise level transition projects within our organization.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders across various departments. Your responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and execution of communication campaigns targeting our customers (including patients and doctors). These campaigns will be delivered via email, SMS text, and social media, leveraging the Salesforce Platform-specifically Marketing Cloud and Digital Engagement.

The ideal candidate will have strong and demonstrated experience with Salesforce, along with a strong analytical mindset and extensive experience with business process definition/improvement. They will have the ability to quickly grasp a deep understanding of business pain points, requirements roadmap, user personas, and design thinking approach and interpret complex data.

They will have experience, either hands-on or as a SME, in the Healthcare space, preferably as it relates to a Provider who is receiving Referrals / Orders from a Doctor/Hospital and fulfilling them. This can be in the DME/HME space, Home Health Care, or Pharmacy environments.

The candidate must be able to collaborate effectively with leadership and senior management levels of the company's stakeholders, drive results, proactively identify and resolve problems, and make challenging decisions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with business leaders and the IT team to create, program, and deploy complex communication campaigns and customer journeys via email, SMS text, and social media channels.
  • Converts business objectives as stated by end users into practical solutions, while also gaining a deep understanding of end user communication requirements and data flows.
  • Designs and documents innovative solutions that harness the power of automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other advanced capabilities within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Provides guidance and expertise in ensuring consistent Rotech branding and professional and engaging content in all communication journey campaigns
  • Leverage Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Digital Engagement tools and scripting languages including, but not limited to, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder, Contact Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio, & Dynamic Content Areas to deliver highly dynamic and personalized content.
  • Designs and documents innovative solutions that harness the power of automation, dynamic content, data-driven segmentation, and other advanced capabilities within Salesforce Marketing & Digital Engagement Cloud to maximize customer success
  • Leverage a foundational understanding of data modeling to analyze data flow and identify the transformations required for importing and shaping data essential for running customer journeys. While the primary focus is on Salesforce data, expertise should extend to connecting with diverse data sources for campaigns-such as A/R systems, data warehouses, ERPs, and more
  • Create automations for file/data import, audience segmentation, and journey kick-offs leveraging automation activities including but not limited to: SQL Queries, File Transfers, Import Files, Data Extracts, Verifications, Send Email, Send SMS, Social Postings, etc.
  • Develop SQL code necessary to import and transform data requiring use of Data Extensions and SFTP connectors.
  • Develop and utilize custom AMPscript to personalize emails and incorporate dynamic content into campaigns
  • Identify and define Journey entry sources and decision splits in any given journey with Data Extensions, Lists (or Audiences), Salesforce Data, APIs and Events.
  • Delivers comprehensive Digital Customer Engagement dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to business leaders and IT management. These insights enable informed decision-making and measure the effectiveness of diverse campaigns.
  • Proactively identify and troubleshoot functional discrepancies and issues related to Salesforce and related applications
  • Create a triggered send, display send-time content contextually, retrieve information from a data extension, write to a data extension, create and update HTML content blocks, utilize personalization strings, explain order of operations in which functions process, use it to format date and time

Qualifications

Employment is contingent on

  • Valid driver's license in state of residence with a clean driving record (when applicable for the position)

Education and/or Experience

  • Must have one Certifications: Marketing Cloud Admin, Marketing Cloud Consultant, and/or Certified Email Specialist.
  • 5 years of Information Technology work experience with a Bachelor's degree or above, but similar work experience and advanced skills are considered.
  • Must have 3 years of experience on the SFMC platform in email, SMS and push notifications, as well as experience with Digital Engagement email/text templates for ad-hoc messaging from the Salesforce platform.
  • 1 year experience of email compliant HTML
  • Must have 2 years experience with SFMC Journey Builder, Audience Builder, Automation Studio & Dynamic Content Areas
  • Must be very proficient in AMPScript, and competent in JavaScript.
  • Experience in writing well-abstracted, reusable code templates and design and execute test plans
  • Experience testing and troubleshooting in multiple browsers (Chrome must be one of the browsers) or email clients with a strong sense of web design and user experience fundamentals
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and customer deadlines with minimal oversight
  • A dynamic personality and team player, comfortable in an agile environment, and the ability to meet and exceed goals

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  • Able to create powerful and necessary documentation using tools such as Visio, Monday.com, SnagIt etc. Proficient expertise using Word, Excel and Teams.
  • Experience in Salesforce Health Cloud and Service Cloud is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with data management and reporting best practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Passionate about the Salesforce platform and enjoy working with multiple business stakeholders to solve complex challenges
  • Effectively communicate in English; both oral and written, with location employees and team members to ensure questions and concerns are processed in a timely manner
