TMMWV Production Group Leader - Night Shift

Description:

Manage daily area activities, leadership and control of production line. Maintain safety of team members and ESI.


Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage team members
* Manage time tracking and time entry, PEFF
* Manage floor activities, kaizen, FMDS, and group morale
* Manage projects including training team leaders and team members
* Manage the kaizen process
* Judge quality defects and determine next steps
* Perform STW work audits
* Utilize TBP to solve problems with root cause/CM activity
* TM training and Manpower planning
* Must develop skills to allow them to quickly visualize potential issues and resolve them to maintain safety, productivity, and quality indicators
* Plan for long term improvement of line/area by utilizing problem solving, decision making and judgement
* Track team member and team leader's performance and training to meet metrics


Qualifications:
REQUIRED:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Working knowledge of working in a manufacturing environment
* Knowledge of production safe work practices
* Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment

PREFERRED:
* Associates degree or higher in a Technical area
* Availability to work 10% overtime
* Willingness to travel 10% of the time
